Description
This abstract landscape is all about the quiet beauty of a misty morning, the magnificent power of water, the sheer scale of hydro dams and how insignificant they make us feel and their inevitable location in some of the most beautiful and isolated places on earth.
Biography
Bee Doughty-Pratt paints full-time using oils and inks on large canvases. The inevitable ebb and flow of life is represented by the water which features in some form or other in virtually every abstract artwork Bee produces. Vibrant earthy colours are also her trademark - used to capture the feelings or emotions behind these landscapes rather than the actual detail. Bee exhibits successfully throughout New Zealand and her paintings are held in both private and corporate collections.
