|CONGRATULATIONS TO CAMELLIA MORRIS, CLIFTONS SYDNEY ART PRIZE WINNER FOR 2013.
Camellia Morris won the US$10,000 overall Cliftons Art Prize for her artwork titled "In the Shallows". The winning artwork was selected from more than 580 international artists located across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Camellia's artwork is now on permanent display at Cliftons Sydney Training & Conference venue.
|Camellia describes her artwork as; "In the Shallows depicts children at play in the shallow depths of a beachside pool on a summer's day. It aims to capture the warm glow of the late afternoon, and the interplay of water and light." Winner of the Emerging Artist Prize in the Kogarah Art Prize 2012, and a finalist in many art prizes including the Mosman Art Prize 2011. Camellia is working towards a debut solo exhibition in 2013.
